Movie buffs, film fans, and cinéastes meet to talk about their favorite art form and share their feelings and analysis of a selected film.

On TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 13 we'll meet to discuss Greta Gerwig's directorial debut, Lady Bird (from 2017)--a back-to-school-themed pick.

We welcome passionate fans of this Oscar-nominated film (Best Picture, Director, Actress, Supporting Actress), which blends comedy with mild social-tragedy--seen through the hyperbolic eyes of a high school senior in 2002-era Sacramento, as she struggles to secure her perfect future, perfect love, and at least moderate peace with her mother.

We encourage attendees who have already seen the film to re-watch it, and especially look forward to hearing from anyone who is viewing it for the first time. To watch the film before our meeting, you can place a hold on a library copy HERE.

You can also use your Ferndale Library card to stream Lady Bird through KANOPY
